CityBoy Movement Abia Announces Inauguration Of State Executive, Women Wing

The CityBoy Movement (CBM), Abia State Chapter, has announced the inauguration of its State Executive and Women Wing, scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the movement's headquarters at 20 BCA Road, Umuahia.

The event is scheduled to begin at 12 noon and is expected to mark the formal consolidation of the movement's organisational structure in the state.

According to the State Communication and Media Directorate, the inauguration will usher in a new phase of grassroots mobilisation, leadership and political engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The movement said its political objective is to mobilise young people, women and other stakeholders at the grassroots in support of the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term.

It said the newly inaugurated State Executive will be responsible for strengthening mobilisation across the 17 Local Government Areas, deepening engagement with young people and women, expanding the movement's grassroots presence and building its organisational capacity.

The Women Wing is also expected to strengthen the participation and representation of women within the movement and contribute to its grassroots mobilisation efforts.

The State Communication and Media Directorate called on members, coordinators, women leaders, youth leaders, stakeholders and invited guests to attend the inauguration.

The CityBoy Movement, Abia State Chapter, said it remains committed to strengthening its grassroots structure and mobilising support for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
