Wisdom Okechukwu Completes Move to Spanish Club Through EKAO Player Management

Nigerian forward Wisdom Okechukwu has completed a move to Spanish side Club de Fútbol Alcalà through EKAO Player Management, marking another milestone in the agency’s drive to connect African football talent with opportunities in Europe.

Okechukwu was first identified during a UECOB screening exercise in Umuahia before joining UECOB Sports Academy. He began his football journey at Peperest Academy and later moved to Super Star Academy, where he continued his development.

The striker previously spent a year on trial in Europe before returning to Nigeria to join Abia Comets FC. His performances with the club earned him another opportunity abroad, culminating in his transfer to Club de Fútbol Alcalà.

Based in Alcalà de Xivert in Spain’s Castellón province, Club de Fútbol Alcalà competes in the Primera FFCV Group 1 of the Valencian Regional League. The club is recognised for providing a competitive environment for young players to develop while adapting to the technical and tactical demands of Spanish football.

Speaking on the move, Kenneth Ogbuehi, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of EKAO Player Management, described Okechukwu as a disciplined and determined player whose persistence has earned him the opportunity.
