Former IGP Mike Okiro Hosts City Boy Movement Flag in Abia

Former Inspector General of Police, Sir Mike Mbama Okiro, has hosted the flag of the City Boy Movement during a visit to the movement's Abia State headquarters.

Sir Mike Okiro was received by the State Director of the City Boy Movement, Abia State Chapter, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe.

Speaking during the visit, the former Inspector General of Police commended the Patron of the City Boy Movement, Seyi Tinubu, for establishing the platform, describing it as an initiative that promotes grassroots mobilisation and political participation.

He also expressed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and urged members of the movement to remain committed to the President's political agenda.

Sir Mike Okiro called on members and supporters of the movement to work together and exercise their democratic rights in support of President Tinubu's bid for a second term in the 2027 general elections.

In his remarks, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe commended Seyi Tinubu for the vision behind the City Boy Movement and appreciated Sir Mike Okiro for hosting the movement's flag.

He also commended the Director General of the City Boy Movement, Hon. Francis Shoga, the National Executive and the National Working Committee for their leadership and efforts in expanding the movement across the country.

Mayor Igbokwe described the occasion as a significant milestone for the Abia State chapter, saying it reflects the continued growth of the movement's grassroots structure.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the Abia State chapter to the objectives of the City Boy Movement and expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would secure re-election in the 2027 general elections.

The state director also urged members and supporters across Abia State to remain united and committed as the movement continues to expand its grassroots mobilisation efforts.
