CityBoy Movement Abia Director Charges LGA Coordinators To Deliver Results

The State Director of the CityBoy Movement (CBM), Abia State Chapter, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, has charged Local Government Area (LGA) coordinators of the movement to remain united, committed and focused on delivering measurable results as grassroots mobilisation intensifies across the state.

Igbokwe gave the charge during a strategic meeting with LGA coordinators, where he commended them for their commitment, sacrifices and continued support for the movement.

The State Director said the movement's primary objective was to mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

He urged the coordinators to take ownership of the movement at the grassroots by strengthening structures, expanding membership and engaging voters across their respective LGAs.

Igbokwe stressed that occupying a leadership position within the movement must be accompanied by demonstrable capacity and results.

“We have one interest, and that is to bring back our President, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Every LGA coordinator must understand the responsibility that comes with the position. We need results. We need you to go to the grassroots, mobilise, build structures and show what you can achieve.”

He also assured the coordinators of the continued support of the national leadership for the Abia State Chapter and urged them to remain disciplined and united.

Igbokwe further encouraged the coordinators to maintain effective relationships with ward structures and other stakeholders as the movement expands across the state's 17 LGAs.

In their separate remarks, the LGA coordinators appreciated the State Director for his leadership, accessibility and efforts to strengthen the movement in Abia.

They reaffirmed their commitment to the movement and pledged to strengthen their respective LGA structures, recruit new members and support its objectives.

The coordinators also expressed confidence in Igbokwe's leadership and promised to remain united as they take the movement's message to wards and communities across the state.

The meeting ended with a renewed commitment to grassroots mobilisation, stronger organisational structures, measurable results and support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
