Otti Has Surpassed His Predecessors — Nwoke

Former Obingwa Local Government Chairman, Hon. Ibe Michael Nwoke, has said that Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has surpassed his predecessors in governance performance, particularly in infrastructure development across Abia State.

Nwoke made the remark at a grand civic reception organized in honour of Governor Otti by the Ukwa La Ngwa bloc at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba.

The former Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Abia State chapter, said the governor’s impact is visible across the state, describing him as a leader who assumed office fully prepared to deliver on his mandate.

According to Nwoke, Governor Otti’s administration has demonstrated a focused and results-oriented approach to governance by identifying projects, executing them efficiently, and delivering within record time.

“This is how governance should be. You pick a project, focus on it, and deliver within record time. It is not about lofty promises but about fulfilling campaign promises, and that is exactly what Governor Otti represents,” he said.

Nwoke described the civic reception as well-deserved and long overdue, noting that the people of Ukwa La Ngwa are pleased to be associated with an administration that has restored confidence in governance.

He said the Alex Otti-led government has made significant strides in road construction and other infrastructure projects, particularly in Aba, which he noted had suffered years of neglect.

“The governor has done a lot in terms of infrastructure development across the state. These achievements are visible for all to see. We are proud to be associated with him because he has restored the lost glory of Aba and Abia State. This reception is a fitting honour for hard work,” Nwoke stated.

The former council chairman also called on Abians to support Governor Otti for a second term in office, describing it as well-deserved based on his performance so far.
