Otti Is A Man Of His Word — Anyaso

Renowned Abia philanthropist and former Deputy Governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, has described Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, as a leader who keeps to his promises.

Anyaso made the remark on the sidelines of the grand civic reception organised in honour of Governor Otti by the Ukwa La Ngwa bloc, comprising nine of the 17 local government areas of the state. The event was held in Aba.

According to him, Governor Otti’s administration has recorded significant achievements across virtually all sectors of Abia State, noting that the governor has demonstrated focus and commitment in the delivery of his mandate.

“I do not want to begin to list specific areas because many people have already spoken extensively about infrastructure. Beyond that, education, healthcare, the civil service, youth development and other critical sectors have all received a boost under this administration. For me, the governor has touched every aspect of life, including human capital development,” Anyaso said.

He commended the organisers of the civic reception for recognising the governor’s achievements and deemed it necessary to honour him.

Explaining his presence at the event, Anyaso said he came to show solidarity with Governor Otti and the people of Ukwa la Ngwa for acknowledging the administration’s performance.

“I am from Bende, but above all, I am an Abia man. I came to identify with the governor and my friends from Ukwa La Ngwa who recognised his good works and decided to honour him. It is a well-deserved celebration, and I am impressed with what I have seen here today,” he added.

Dr. Anyaso further stated that Governor Otti has earned the support of Abians, stressing that any attempt to challenge him for a second term would be met with strong resistance.
